Steps:

  1. First I wet her hair and then apply “Indian Aztec Clay” mixture to her hair (see products for mixture and how to apply)
  2. I placed a shower cap on her head and let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes
  3. I then rinsed her hair of all the clay and washed it with “African Black Soap”
  4. Apply  whatever moisturizer is good for you
  5. Section hair into four sections: one big section in the front, one in the middle behind the front section (then part that down the middle to make two side puffs)
  6. Then just place back into a ponytail
  7. French braid the middle right section toward your left section and then french braid your middle left section toward your right section. Roll ends into a bun and pin into place
  8. Take back section out of ponytail
  9. Pull apart small sections (whatever size you desire) and twist until all the back is all twisted up
  10. Do the same to the front section.
  11. Let it dry completely
  12. When it is dry, take the individual twist out by untwisting from the bottom to maintain definition
  13. Accessorize (only if you want to)

Steps:
1. Section your hair in four parts.
2. Start with one section and wet hair and apply hair product
(The product used for hairstyle above was Eco Styler Gel found at any Walgreens store.)
3. Start to two-strand twist hair.
4. Continue this until all sections are done with two strand-twists.
5. Cover hair with silk/satin bonnet and let twists dry over night.
(For longer lasting results you can leave your two strand twists in more than one day..if you like)
6. Gently undo your two strand twists and shape your hair in the way you like with your fingertips.
And there you have it.
Your simple two strand twist out…
(Throw in a cute little hair accessory to style it up!)

  5. Began to separate medium size sections of, apply a little more moisturizer to the ends and start twisting from the roots down to the end (tight twist)
  6. Continue this process until all of your hair is twisted
  7. If you want the front hair to come forward, twist front hair down toward forehead
  8. In order to get great definition leave twist in for two days (in the mean time I wear a knitted bonnet with my front twist out). I will upload a photo right below to show you an example of what I mean
  9. On the third day unravel the twist, then carefully pull apart the unraveled part so not to mess up the definition
  10. Pick carefully at the roots of the hair ( just the roots) to make sure parts come together
  11. Style how you like (I decided to pin the back of my hair upward and the right over to the left)
  12. Nice hairdo for a special occasion
